Advocacy
We advocate for slowness in organizational and institutional settings. We do this carefully and without urgency.
Slow Meeting Initiative
A campaign to normalize meetings that end when they should end rather than when the calendar block ends. This means some meetings end early. We consider early endings an achievement, not an inefficiency.
The Right to Finish
Advocacy for organizational norms that allow workers to complete a task before beginning another. Multitasking is not a feature. It is a compromise. We are documenting its costs.
Publication Pacing in Academic Research
A campaign against the pressure to publish research before it is ready. Our position: a paper published slowly and correctly is more valuable than a paper published quickly and incorrectly. This position is controversial in some circles.
